LET ME DEFINE VICTORY

Victory can be determined in many different ways by many different people. Victory is what you make of it. Victory can be anything from a sport to a dream. I am going to define this victory to be the battle of depression. You walk with your head hanging low no one that you'd want to say hello. You lock yourself in your room and you wonder what has caused all this pain? But still the battle is being fought. You feel it coming and the room grows dark as everything in your world falls apart. You look around and all you see is darkness and you know you need to run. You run as fast as you can trying not to look back. As time goes on you begin to slow your pace ot able to take a break. You fear what will happen when it catches you. All you want is t find a way through, a way out to beat this battle. Suddenly you land face first on the dark floor and you plead please I want so much more. You cry and you plea unable to flee. The darkness has taken its toll and now you are under it's control. You sit in your room staring on blankly with a single tear falling down your face. You know this time you couldn't win and are now captive through a broken victory by the darkness.
